Tsarist Russia, in Kiev, where he was inspired by the lives and feats of the founders and holy fathers of the Kiev Lavra. In Kiev, he was tonsured a monk and ordained as a hieromonk. He returned to Cetinje in 1888, then went to Vranjina and later to Ostrog. A miraculous vision prompted the construction of a church at the site of the current Dajbabe Monastery. He passed away in 1941, and in 1996, his holy relics were discovered.
