SAINT APOSTLE THOMAS

Saint Apostle Thomas, born in Galilee, heard the preaching of Christ and witnessed the miracles He performed. Filled with zeal for the faith, he was honored to be numbered among the 12 apostles who followed Christ to His suffering. However, after the Resurrection of Christ, he did not believe the words of the other apostles that they had seen the Risen Christ. Ten days after the Resurrection, the Lord appeared to the apostles again and told Thomas to put his finger into His side. This is why he is often referred to as “Doubting Thomas.”
