SAINT ARCHANGEL MIHAILO

The cross is crafted by combining iconographic techniques inspired by Byzantine and medieval originals.

It is produced through metal casting and meticulous hand-finishing, enriched with 24-karat gold and 925 silver, adorned with zircon stones, and set into the finest pieces of waxed walnut wood.

The dimensions of the cross are 93 mm x 150 mm x 22 mm.

The leader of the heavenly armies, Saint Archangel Michael, was the first to stand decisively before the angelic host, saying with great authority, “Let us be vigilant, let us stand in peace, let us stand in awe!” And the heavenly host of angels thundered, singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts; the heaven and the earth are full of His glory!” Archangel Michael is a common patron saint in Serbian tradition.
